Monday's Discoveries

Great Finds To Start Your Week

Monday, Monday sometimes they just work out Ok!

If Mondays are not usually your favorite day,
I thought I'd make them a little brighter.

Each Monday I post some great new finds.
Before they are posted in my etsy shop
my readers get first peek.

See something you like...just drop me a note.

This Monday it’s....
Not only what it is
but
what it could be!!

Vintage Lamp Shade Frame
with white cloth binding attached around the scalloped rims.
A full 16” high & 16” diameter,
it could be, a lamp shade, of course.
Or

it could be .. topped with glass, for a unique side table.

It could be..with a wonderful fabric, a great paper, or left as is, and a hanging light kit,
a stunning light fixture.

Whatever way you choose,
It’s a favorite find of mine.

Have a stunning Monday

introducing my new hometown

Sandwich Ma
I’ve just realized that I haven’t written one blog about my new hometown.
Which is quite unbelievable,
it took me 6 months to find a home in a town I was determined to live in!

Incorporated in 1639, Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod and one of the oldest towns in the United States, settled by European immigrants nearly 150 years before the American Revolution.

So here is a short trip around Sandwich from the eyes of a newcomer.
summer concert on the pond

4th of july parade

the night concert & boat parade 4th of july

gristmill on hoxie pond(they still grind cornmeal)

hoxie pond (where a grandson can catch his 1st fish)

boardwalk beach(you can float or boat to the bay)
the colors of fall on the marsh

the boardwalk to cape cod bay

To be continued....

Thanks for visiting
