a little shop update ~

The sun is feeling warmer, the bulbs are starting to peek up, my muscles are sore from the first workout in the garden.
Ah ha...  i'm feeling a bit of spring fever this week and so is the shop.

a great way to store and display your garden tools & plants

I love this with  garden displays, with or without plants trained on it

antique botanical  colored sketches, artist unknown

a perfect colored vase for  spring flowers, white tulips (my favorite), or  a wow with yellow daffodils

reading or breakfast in bed never looked so sweet,  Ha! (more like a place for my laptop)

A Feast for the Eyes & the Tummy

Really!
Some shops are eye candy. Noun, a person's place for things, on SE Belmont, Portland, took this concept a step beyond.
Not only does it have great stuff, display it wonderfully, and it's a combination of old and new, which I'm always drawn to. Hence, feast for the eyes....

In the rear of the store is a yummy section run by Saint Cupcake! Yes, gooey, yummy, scrumptious, cupcakes. Feast for the tummy!
I will chat more on this great shop and it is definitely on the list for my next Portland visit!

ps Another smile for this shop...it managed to keep a 5 year old and his grandfather happy while I shopped.

Have a Luscious Sunday

It Is Everywhere!

On my post yesterday I talked about the color yellow.
I had very limited time left after that. So, I scurried out to only the yard sales in town.
Well,
imagine my surprise and delight when I happened upon...........
Yup, you guessed it!
A big bright bold yellow vintage Nelson Sprinkler!
It didn't take me long to snap it up.
That color is popping up everywhere!

I came across only a few other great finds. Sometimes it's not how much, but how great.
And these are great. I love them all!

Not bad for an hours work!
Might be hard for me to put these in my etsy shop.....We will just have to wait and see.
For now have a lovely Sunday
Sue
